If you are starting from the Jesselton Point, head east along the waterfront promenade towards the city center. Continue walking for about 15 minutes until you reach the end of the promenade. As you approach the main road, turn left onto Jalan Gaya. After walking for another 5 minutes, you will see the Sabah Tourism Board located at 51, Jalan Gaya on your right.

From the Kota Kinabalu Central Market, walk to the nearest bus stop and take any bus heading towards the city center. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Jalan Gaya.
