If you're driving to Batu Caves, start by heading northeast on the North-South Expressway (E1). Take the exit towards Batu Caves (exit 332). Follow the signs for Batu Caves; you will be directed to the road leading to the entrance of the caves. There is ample parking available, but be aware that parking fees may apply, typically around RM 2-5 depending on the duration of your stay.
Public Transportation - KTM Komuter
To reach Batu Caves via public transport, take the KTM Komuter train from any station in Klang Valley to the Batu Caves station on the Batu Caves Line. If you're starting from Kuala Lumpur Sentral (KL Sentral), board the KTM Komuter train towards Batu Caves (this is a direct line). The journey takes approximately 30 minutes and costs around RM 2. Once you arrive at the Batu Caves station, it is a short 10-minute walk to the entrance of the caves.
Public Transportation - Bus
You can also take a bus to Batu Caves. From Kuala Lumpur, head to the Pudu Sentral Bus Terminal and board the Bus 11 or 11D, which will take you directly to Batu Caves. The fare is around RM 2 and the journey will take approximately 30-45 minutes depending on traffic. The bus will drop you off near the entrance of the caves.
