The square is a large open area with the iconic state flagpole and is surrounded by beautiful greenery.

Board the bus and inform the driver that you want to go to Merdeka Square. After a short ride, disembark at the nearest stop to Jalan Padang Merdeka. From there, walk towards Jalan Padang Merdeka, and you will see Merdeka Square ahead.
