You can get there by walking from the city center, as it is just a short distance away. Look for clear signage pointing towards the ferry terminal. Once you arrive at the terminal, purchase your tickets for the ferry to Sapi Island from the ticket booth. Ferries typically run every 30 minutes, so check the schedule posted at the terminal. After getting your ticket, proceed to the boarding area, and board the ferry when your group is called. Enjoy the picturesque views during the 15-20 minute ferry ride to Sapi Island.

If you are staying near the waterfront in Kota Kinabalu, you can walk to Jesselton Point Ferry Terminal. Start on Jalan Tun Fuad Stephen and head towards the ocean. Continue straight until you reach the waterfront promenade. At the waterfront, turn right and follow the path until you see the signs for Jesselton Point. It's a pleasant walk that should take around 10-15 minutes, allowing you to enjoy the coastal views.
