The Golden Anniversary Bridge, also known as the 'Jambatan Emas', is a breathtaking pedestrian bridge in Kuching, Sarawak. Walking
If you are starting from Kuching Waterfront, head towards the north along the waterfront promenade. You will pass by the iconic Sarawak River and several local cafes. Continue walking until you reach the Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman intersection. Turn left onto Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman and continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers. You will see the Golden Anniversary Bridge on your right-hand side, near Jalan Gambier.
Public Transport (Bus)
From the Kuching Waterfront, walk to the nearest bus stop that services the local buses. Take a bus heading towards the Satok area. Inform the bus driver that you want to get off at Jalan Gambier. The bus ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes. Once you get off, the Golden Anniversary Bridge will be a short walk ahead.
Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops near Kuching Waterfront. Cycle north along the waterfront, then turn left onto Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman. Continue straight on this road for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the Golden Anniversary Bridge at Jalan Gambier.
