If you are starting from Kuching Waterfront, head northeast along the riverfront promenade until you reach the junction with Jalan Main Bazaar. Turn left onto Jalan Main Bazaar and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Jalan Padungan. Cross the road and continue straight onto Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman. Follow this road for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach Jalan Muda Hashim. Turn left onto Jalan Muda Hashim and walk for about 500 meters. You will find Masjid Al Hakim on your right.

From the Kuching Waterfront, walk to the nearest bus stop and take the bus number 4 or 6 heading towards the Kampung Muda Hashim area. Stay on the bus until you reach the Kampung Muda Hashim stop. Once you disembark, walk along Jalan Muda Hashim for about 300 meters, and you will find Masjid Al Hakim on your left.
