Getting There

  From Kuching city, head to the main bus terminal, Terminal Bas Kuching, located at Jalan Laksamana Cheng Ho. Look for the bus heading to Bau, which is the closest town to Mendung Escape. The bus fare is usually low, around RM 3-5. The journey will take about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Bau, you can ask the locals for directions to Jalan Tondong. It’s approximately a 15-minute walk from the bus stop, or you can take a local taxi or ride-hailing service from Bau to Mendung Escape.

• Taxi or Ride-Hailing Service

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can book a taxi or use a ride-hailing app like Grab. Simply enter 'Mendung Escape, Jalan Tondong - Apar - Segong, Bau' as your destination. The ride from Kuching city center will take around 30 minutes, depending on traffic, and will cost approximately RM 40-50. This option is particularly convenient if you are traveling in a group or with luggage.

• Walking from Bau

  If you find yourself in Bau town and wish to walk to Mendung Escape, start at the Bau bus terminal. Head south on Jalan Bako until it intersects with Jalan Tondong. Take a left onto Jalan Tondong and continue straight for about 2 km. You will see signs for Mendung Escape. The walk will take you roughly 25-30 minutes.
