From Kuching City Center, you can take a bus from the Kuching Sentral Bus Terminal. Look for the bus that goes to Bau. The bus ride will take approximately 40 minutes. Once you arrive in Bau, get off at the town center. From the town center, you can hire a local taxi or a motorcycle taxi to take you to the foot of Mount Singai. The hike to the peak will take about 1-2 hours depending on your pace.

Taxi or Ride-sharing Service
If you prefer a more direct route, you can book a taxi or use a ride-sharing service like Grab. From anywhere in Kuching, simply input 'Mount Singai' or 'Bau' in the app. The journey should take roughly 30-40 minutes. The driver will take you to the base of the mountain where the hiking trail begins.

Bicycle Rental
For the more adventurous, consider renting a bicycle in Kuching. Start your journey from the city center and head towards Jalan Bako, which will lead you towards Bau. The ride is approximately 25 kilometers and will take about 1-1.5 hours. Once you reach Bau, ask locals for directions to Mount Singai. Please note that the final part to the hiking trail is best done on foot or by arranging a ride.
