If you are starting from Kuching Waterfront, head northeast along the waterfront promenade. You will pass several shops and cafes. Continue walking until you reach the Sarawak River ferry terminal. From there, cross the river using the ferry service which is very affordable and runs frequently. Once you are on the other side, exit the ferry and walk straight down towards the main road. Hornbill Fountain is located a short walk from the terminal, near the entrance of the Kuching City South Council building. Look for the fountain at the roundabout.
