Walking
If you are starting from Kuching Waterfront, head northeast along the waterfront promenade. You will pass several shops and cafes. Continue walking until you reach the Sarawak River ferry terminal. From there, cross the river using the ferry service which is very affordable and runs frequently. Once you are on the other side, exit the ferry and walk straight down towards the main road. Hornbill Fountain is located a short walk from the terminal, near the entrance of the Kuching City South Council building. Look for the fountain at the roundabout.

From any central location in Kuching, look for a local bus heading towards the city center or the Satok area. Alight at the nearest bus stop to the Kuching City South Council. From there, it's a short walk to Hornbill Fountain. As you approach, the fountain will be visible from the main road. Simply follow the pedestrian pathways leading directly to the fountain.
