Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, head towards the north of Langkawi. Navigate towards Jalan Tanjung Rhu from Kuah Town or Pantai Cenang. Follow the signs for Tanjung Rhu Beach. As you approach Tanjung Rhu, look for the Dataran Tanjung Rhu (Medan Niaga Tanjung Rhu) sign. It will be located at CRR3+88, 07000 Langkawi, Kedah. Parking is available nearby, but be mindful of any parking fees that may apply.

• Public Bus

  Take the Langkawi City Tour bus from Kuah Town. The bus runs every hour and will take you towards Tanjung Rhu. Make sure to check the schedule in advance. Get off at the Tanjung Rhu stop. From there, it is a short walk to Dataran Tanjung Rhu (Medan Niaga Tanjung Rhu). The bus fare is affordable, typically around RM 5 to RM 10, depending on your starting point.

• Taxi or Grab

  You can also opt for a taxi or use the Grab app for a more convenient ride. Simply input Dataran Tanjung Rhu (Medan Niaga Tanjung Rhu) as your destination. The cost will vary depending on your pickup location, but expect to pay between RM 20 to RM 50 from popular areas like Pantai Cenang or Kuah Town. This is the quickest option, especially if you're traveling with a group.

• Bicycle Rental

  For the adventurous, renting a bicycle is a great way to explore the area. Many rental shops can be found around Pantai Cenang. Once you have your bike, cycle towards Tanjung Rhu, following the coastal roads. The ride offers beautiful views and will take approximately 30-45 minutes. Ensure you wear a helmet and stay hydrated during your journey.
