• Ferry

  To reach Langkawi Island from the mainland, take a ferry from either Kuala Perlis or Kuala Kedah. If you are in Kuala Perlis, head to the Kuala Perlis Jetty. Look for signs directing you to the ferry terminal, which is usually a short walk from the bus station. Buy your ferry ticket at the terminal counter or from authorized ticket agents. Ferries operate frequently, so check the schedule for the next departure. The journey to Langkawi takes about 1 hour. Upon arrival at Kuah Jetty on Langkawi, you can take a taxi or local transport to your accommodation.

• Flight

  If you are coming from another Malaysian city, consider taking a domestic flight to Langkawi Airport (LGK). Airlines like AirAsia and Malaysia Airlines operate regular flights to Langkawi. Once you land at Langkawi International Airport, you can take a taxi or use a ride-sharing app to reach your destination within Langkawi. Follow the signs to the taxi counter located just outside the arrival hall.
