Getting There

• Public Bus

  From your current location in Langkawi, head to the nearest bus stop. Look for the local bus heading towards Kuah Town. Once on the bus, ask the driver to let you know when you reach the stop for the Durian Perangin Waterfall. The bus journey takes approximately 30-45 minutes. After getting off the bus, you may need to walk for about 1 kilometer along the main road to reach the entrance of the waterfall area.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from your current location to Durian Perangin Waterfall. Simply find a taxi stand or use a ride-hailing app available in Langkawi. Inform the driver that you want to go to Durian Perangin Waterfall, which is located in the 07000 area. The ride will take around 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to confirm the fare before starting your journey.

• Bicycle Rental

  For an adventurous option, consider renting a bicycle from a local shop. Once you have your bike, start from your accommodation heading towards Jalan Padang Matsirat. Follow this road until you reach Jalan Durian Perangin. The ride is about 6-8 kilometers, and it may take roughly 30-45 minutes depending on your pace. Make sure to stay hydrated and wear sunscreen as you cycle through the beautiful scenery.

• Walking

  If you are staying nearby, you can walk to Durian Perangin Waterfall. Start by heading towards Jalan Durian Perangin. Follow the signs that guide you to the waterfall. The walk may take around 1-1.5 hours depending on your speed and the path you choose. Ensure you are wearing comfortable shoes and be prepared for some uphill walking as you get closer to the waterfall.
