Excellent Tour!

We went on the morning tour, but it's not available for separate review. We really enjoyed our morning bird watching tour, it was one of the highlights of our trip to Malaysia! Our guide Afie was really knowledgeable and enthusiastic. She was especially good at helping us pinpoint the birds - some guides just point, but she really made an effort to give us specific directions to find things. She also created an atmosphere where we felt confident pointing out things we saw, even if they turned out not to be birds. Even amateur birdwatchers can get a lot out of the tour. We saw over 30 different types of birds. Afie provided a paper checklist so we could keep track of what we saw, so I recommend taking a pen or pencil so you can tick them off. The van took us to at least four different locations where we got out and looked around. There was some gentle walking required, but nothing strenuous. Sometimes the paths were a little muddy, so I'd recommend sturdy trainers or walking boots if there's been rain. Highly recommended, especially with Afie!
