Walking
If you are starting from Jonker Street, head towards Jalan Hang Jebat and turn left. Continue walking straight until you reach the junction with Jalan Tun Tan Cheng Lock. Turn right onto Jalan Tun Tan Cheng Lock and walk until you see the Melaka River on your left. Cross the river using the bridge, then keep walking straight. You will see a sign for Melaka Fort. Continue walking until you reach Banda Hilir, where Melaka Fort is located.
Public Transport (Bus)
From the Melaka Sentral Bus Terminal, take Bus 17 or 18 towards the city center. Ask the driver to drop you off at the Banda Hilir stop. Once you get off, walk towards the direction of the Melaka River, and you will see signs leading you to Melaka Fort. It should be a short walk from the bus stop.
Cycling
If you rented a bicycle, start from the city center and head towards Jalan Merdeka, which leads towards the river. Follow the riverside path until you reach the Banda Hilir area. You will notice a path that leads directly to Melaka Fort. This route is scenic and allows you to enjoy the views along the river.
