Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from Jonker Street, head southeast on Jalan Hang Jebat toward Jalan Tun Tan Cheng Lock. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Jalan Merdeka. Turn right onto Jalan Merdeka, and follow the road for about 10 minutes. You will see Muzium Samudera (Flor de La Mar) on your left, just before the Malacca River.

From A Famosa Fort, exit the fort and turn left onto Jalan Parameswara. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Jalan Merdeka. Turn right onto Jalan Merdeka, and continue walking for approximately 5 minutes. Muzium Samudera (Flor de La Mar) will be on your left.

If you are near the Melaka Sentral Bus Terminal, take bus number 17, which goes directly to the Banda Hilir area. Get off at the Banda Hilir stop, which is a short walk from the museum.
