Car
Start your journey in Mulu National Park by heading to the nearest major town, Miri. From Mulu, you can either take a domestic flight to Miri or drive to Miri, which takes about 5-6 hours. Once in Miri, take the A1 highway south towards Kuching. After approximately 150 km, you will reach the junction for the Borneo Highway (AH150). Continue on the Borneo Highway for another 150 km until you see signs for Lubok Antu. Follow the signs to Lubok Antu, which is about 40 km away from the junction. Upon reaching Lubok Antu, follow the signs to Batang Ai National Park, which is located approximately 20 km from the town center. Note that you may need to pay a small fee at the entrance of the park.

Public Transportation
From Mulu National Park, your first step is to take a local flight to Miri. Another option is to travel by bus from Mulu to Miri, though this may take longer. Once in Miri, you can take a bus to Kuching. Buses from Miri to Kuching can be found at the Miri Bus Terminal. The journey takes around 8-9 hours. Upon arrival in Kuching, you will need to find a bus that heads to Lubok Antu. This bus journey takes approximately 3-4 hours. Finally, once in Lubok Antu, you can either take a taxi or a local minibus to reach the entrance of Batang Ai National Park, which is about 20 km away. Be prepared for the possibility of needing to pay for the bus fares and the entrance fee to the park.
