    Car

    If you are driving from the Northern Region, take the North-South Expressway (E1) heading south towards Kuala Lumpur. Follow the signs for Kuala Lumpur and merge onto Jalan Duta. Continue on Jalan Duta, and then take the exit toward Jalan Kuching. From Jalan Kuching, follow the signs towards the city center. Once you reach the city center, look for Jalan Raja, where Merdeka Square is located. There are parking facilities nearby, but expect to pay around RM5-10 for parking.

    Bus

    Take a bus from any major town in the Northern Region to Kuala Lumpur. Look for buses heading to Pudu Sentral or Kuala Lumpur Sentral. Once you arrive, you can either take a taxi or use the MRT. If you choose the MRT, head to the nearest station (MRT Merdeka Station). Exit at the Merdeka station and follow the signs to Merdeka Square, which is about a 10-minute walk.
