After approximately 40 km, take the exit towards Kuala Lumpur/Penang (E1). Continue on the E1 highway, following the signs for Penang. Expect to pay tolls along the way, which may total around RM 30. Once you reach the Penang Bridge, you will be charged a toll fee of RM 7.50 for crossing into Penang.
