By Car
If you are traveling by car, start on the East Coast Expressway (E8) from any location in Pahang. Follow signs for Kuala Lumpur and take the exit towards Genting Highlands. Continue on the Genting Sempah route. As you approach Genting Highlands, follow the signs to Resorts World Genting. The drive is approximately 45 minutes from Kuantan and about 1.5 hours from Kuala Lumpur, depending on traffic. Make sure to be aware of the winding roads as you ascend to the highlands.
By Bus
For those opting for public transportation, take a bus from major cities in Pahang, like Kuantan, to Kuala Lumpur. From Kuala Lumpur, head to the Pudu Sentral bus terminal, where you can find buses heading to Genting Highlands. The bus ride from Pudu Sentral to Genting is approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Awana Bus Terminal in Genting, you can take the Awana SkyWay cable car to reach Resorts World Genting. The cable car ride provides stunning views of the surrounding rainforest and takes about 10 minutes.
By Taxi or Ride-Hailing Service
You can also use a taxi or ride-hailing services like Grab to travel directly to Resorts World Genting. If you are in Pahang, simply book a ride to the resort. The fare will vary depending on your starting point, but expect to pay around RM 80 to RM 120 from Kuantan to Resorts World Genting. Note that ride-hailing services may have additional charges for the convenience.
By Train and Cable Car
If you prefer a combination of train and cable car, take a train to KL Sentral from your location in Pahang. From KL Sentral, transfer to the bus terminal and take a bus to Genting Highlands. Once you arrive at Awana Bus Terminal, you can take the Awana SkyWay cable car to Resorts World Genting. This option provides a scenic journey but may take longer, with travel times varying based on waiting times.
