Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from George Town, head southwest on Jalan Penang towards Jalan Tanjung Tokong. Continue on Jalan Tanjung Tokong, and merge onto Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu Expressway (E36). Follow the signs for Jalan Perak and take the exit towards Jalan Paya Terubong. Continue on Jalan Paya Terubong and follow the signs for Balik Pulau. Once you reach Balik Pulau, follow the local signs to Kampung Terang where the paddy fields are located. There is ample parking available near the fields.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  To visit Balik Pulau Paddy Field via public transport, start by taking the Rapid Penang bus number 201 from George Town Bus Terminal. The route will take you directly to Balik Pulau. The bus journey may take approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive in Balik Pulau, you can either walk or take a local taxi to Kampung Terang, which is about a 10-minute ride away. Expect to pay around RM 10 for the taxi fare.
