If you're driving from George Town, head southwest on Jalan Penang towards the Penang Bridge. Once you cross the bridge, continue on the North-South Expressway (E1) towards Ipoh. Take the exit towards Bukit Mertajam/Penang (exit 162). Follow the signs for Jalan Permatang Damar Laut and then Jalan Pulau Betong. Continue straight until you reach Pulau Betong. Pantai Pasir Panjang will be located on your left. Parking is available near the beach, and there may be a small parking fee of RM2.

To reach Pantai Pasir Panjang by public transportation from George Town, take a bus from the Weld Quay Bus Terminal. Look for the bus heading to Teluk Bahang or Balik Pulau. Inform the driver you want to get off at Pulau Betong. The bus fare is approximately RM2-3. After arriving at Pulau Betong, you can either walk to Pantai Pasir Panjang, which is about a 15-minute walk, or take a local taxi. Taxi fares in the area are generally around RM10-15 for short trips.
