Bus
From Georgetown, head to the nearest bus station, which is the Komtar Bus Terminal. Take the Rapid Penang bus number 401, which goes directly to Bayan Lepas. The journey will take approximately 30 to 45 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive at the Bayan Lepas bus stop, disembark and walk approximately 10 minutes south along Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah. The Snake Temple will be on your left, at number 10.
Taxi/Grab
If you prefer a more direct route, you can book a taxi or use the Grab app from anywhere in Penang. Simply input 'Snake Temple' or the address '10, Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah, Bayan Lepas' as your destination. The ride should take around 20 to 30 minutes from Georgetown, depending on traffic conditions.
Walking
If you are staying in Bayan Lepas, you can also walk to the Snake Temple. From the Bayan Lepas area, head towards Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah. Walk along this road heading northwest for about 15 to 20 minutes, and the Snake Temple will be on your right at number 10.
