If you are traveling by car, start your journey by getting onto the North-South Expressway (E1) if you are coming from Kuala Lumpur or other locations in Peninsular Malaysia. Follow signs for 'Gombak' and take exit 330 for 'Gombak'. Once you exit, follow the signs to Batu Caves. You'll be driving along Route 1 (Jalan Batu Caves) which will lead you directly to Batu Caves. There is ample parking available near the entrance, but expect a fee of around RM 2-5 depending on the duration of your stay.

For those using public transportation, take the KTM Komuter train from Kuala Lumpur to Batu Caves. Head to the KL Sentral station where you can board the Batu Caves line.
