From the jetty, take a speedboat to Perhentian Island, which will take about 30 minutes. Make sure to buy your boat ticket in advance to avoid delays.

If you’re using public transportation, take a bus from Kuala Lumpur or Kota Bharu to Kuala Besut. The bus journey will take approximately 6-8 hours. Once you arrive at the Kuala Besut bus station, head to the Kuala Besut Jetty, which is about a 10-minute walk. From there, purchase a speedboat ticket to Perhentian Island. The boat ride will take about 30 minutes. It's advisable to check the boat schedule in advance as the service may vary depending on the weather conditions.
