The boat ride typically costs around RM 70 for a return trip and takes approximately 30 minutes. Upon arrival at the jetty on Pulau Perhentian Besar, you can either walk or take a short boat ride to Small Beach, which is located on the western side of the island.

    If you are using public transportation, take a bus from Kuala Lumpur to Kuala Besut. Bus companies like Unititi Express or Transnasional operate this route and the journey will take about 8 to 9 hours. Once you arrive in Kuala Besut, you can find local taxis or walk to the jetty to catch a boat to Pulau Perhentian Besar. The boat ticket costs around RM 70 for a round trip. After arriving at Pulau Perhentian Besar, walk or take a short boat ride to reach Small Beach, which is located on the western side of the island.
