Car
If you're driving, head towards the Sipadan-Mabul Resort (SMR) or any of the resorts located on Mabul Island, as most dive operators will take you to Lobster Wall from there. From Tawau, take the E1 highway toward Semporna, and follow the signs to Semporna Town, which is approximately a 1.5-hour drive. Once in Semporna, head to the jetty where you can find boats that will take you to Mabul Island. The boat ride typically lasts around 30 minutes, and prices can vary, generally costing between RM 50 to RM 100 per person. Upon arrival at Mabul, check with your dive operator for the best access point to Lobster Wall, which is situated nearby.
Public Transportation
To reach Lobster Wall using public transportation, start your journey from Tawau by taking a bus to Semporna. Buses from Tawau to Semporna run regularly and the fare is about RM 30. Upon arrival in Semporna, make your way to the jetty where you can book a boat transfer to Mabul Island. The boat ride takes approximately 30 minutes and costs around RM 50 to RM 100 per person. Once you arrive at Mabul, coordinate with your dive operator for transportation to Lobster Wall, which is accessible by a short boat ride from the island.
