Ferry
To reach Lookout Point on Redang Island, start your journey from Kuala Terengganu. You can take a ferry from Merang Jetty, which is approximately a 45-minute drive from the city center. Make sure to check the ferry schedule in advance, as it operates at specific times. The ferry ride to Redang Island takes about 1 to 1.5 hours. The cost of the ferry ticket is typically around RM 55 to RM 70 for a one-way trip.
Walking
Once you arrive at Redang Island, disembark at the main jetty. From there, you will need to walk to Lookout Point. Head towards the main road and follow the signs directing you towards the hiking trails. The Lookout Point is located approximately 1.5 kilometers from the jetty. The path may be steep and uneven in places, so wear good walking shoes and carry enough water for the hike. The trail is well-marked, making it easier for you to find your way.

If you prefer not to walk, you can also consider hiring a local guide or taking a resort shuttle if available. Some resorts on Redang Island offer transportation to popular hiking areas.
