To reach Redang Island from the mainland, you will first need to travel to Merang Jetty or Shahbandar Jetty in Kuala Terengganu. If you are traveling by car, head to Merang Jetty, which is approximately a 1-hour drive from Kuala Terengganu city center. There are parking facilities available at the jetty. Alternatively, if you are using public transportation, you can take a local bus or taxi to Merang Jetty. Once at the jetty, purchase a ticket for a speedboat or ferry to Redang Island. The boat ride typically takes about 45 minutes. Be sure to check the schedule for departure times.

Once you arrive at Redang Island, you will need to disembark at the main jetty on the island. From there, the Redang monument is located approximately a 15-20 minute walk from the jetty. Head east along the beach, keeping the ocean on your left. Look for signs directing you towards the monument, which is situated near the Laguna Redang Island Resort.
