From the jetty, purchase a ferry ticket to Redang Island, which costs approximately RM 55 to RM 75 for a round trip, depending on the season. The ferry ride takes about 45 minutes to reach Redang Island.

If you prefer public transport, take a bus from Kuala Terengganu to Merang. Buses leave regularly from the Terminal Bas Kuala Terengganu and the fare is about RM 10. Once you arrive at Merang, follow the signs to the jetty. From here, you will need to purchase a ferry ticket to Redang Island for approximately RM 55 to RM 75 for a round trip. The ferry journey will take around 45 minutes.
