Walking
From the city center of Sandakan, start your journey at the Sandakan Harbour Square. Head south towards Jalan Bunga Raya and continue straight until you reach the junction with Jalan Leila. Turn left onto Jalan Leila and walk until you reach the main road, Jalan Sandakan-Lahad Datu. Cross the road carefully and continue on foot along the side of the highway. Keep walking for about 2 km until you see signs for Pantai Pamaguan. Follow the signs, and after approximately 10 minutes, you will arrive at Pantai Pamaguan.
Public Transport (Bus or Minivan)
From Sandakan city center, make your way to the nearest bus terminal, which is located near the Sandakan Central Market. Look for a bus or minivan that is heading towards Lahad Datu or Taman Perumahan. These buses usually operate frequently throughout the day. Once you board the bus, inform the driver that you want to get off at Pantai Pamaguan. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. When you reach the area, the driver will let you know when to disembark, and from there, you can walk a short distance to the beach.
