Walking
If you are starting from the Sandakan Central Market, head south on Jalan Lumba Lumba towards Jalan Lintas. Continue walking for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Jalan Buli Sim-Sim. Turn left onto Jalan Buli Sim-Sim and walk straight for another 5 minutes. You will pass several local shops and food stalls. When you reach the roundabout at Pusat Bandar Sandakan, take the second exit onto Jalan Leila. Continue walking for 3 minutes, and you will see Malaysia Fountain on your right, a prominent landmark in the area.

Walking
If you are starting from the Sandakan Waterfront, head north along the waterfront promenade. After about 15 minutes of walking, you will reach the end of the promenade. From there, turn right onto Jalan Tun Abang Haji Openg and walk for about 7 minutes. You will see a large roundabout; take the first exit onto Jalan Leila. Continue walking straight for 5 minutes, and Malaysia Fountain will be right in front of you.

If you are near the Sandakan Bus Terminal, take a local bus heading towards Pusat Bandar Sandakan. The ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes. Ask the bus driver to drop you at the Pusat Bandar Sandakan stop. From there, walk towards Jalan Leila for about 5 minutes, and you will find Malaysia Fountain on your left side near the roundabout.
