If you are in the Sandakan town center near the Sandakan Plaza, head southeast on Jalan Persatuan. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach Jalan Taman. Turn left onto Jalan Taman and walk for another 300 meters. The Sandakan Liberation Monument will be on your right at Pusat Bandar Sandakan, 90000 Sandakan, Sabah. Look for the tall monument in the park area.
