If you are driving from Kuching city center, head north on Jalan Padungan. Continue onto Jalan Tun Abang Haji Openg until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Jalan Pedada. Follow this road for approximately 5 kilometers. Then, turn left onto Jalan Bako and continue for another 10 kilometers until you reach the junction for Petra Jaya. Take a right turn onto Jalan Sg. Bako and continue straight until you see the park entrance on your left. Parking is available at the entrance, but be aware that it may cost around RM 5 for parking.

To reach Kuching Wetlands National Park via public transport, take a bus from Kuching city center to Bako National Park. Buses leave regularly from the central bus station. The fare is about RM 3. Once you arrive at Bako National Park, you will need to take a boat to Kuching Wetlands National Park. The boat ride costs approximately RM 20 per person. Be sure to check the boat schedule in advance as services may vary throughout the day.
