Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from Kuala Terengganu, head west on Jalan Sultan Zainal Abidin (Route 3) towards Dungun. Continue for approximately 90 kilometers until you reach Dungun town. Once in Dungun, follow the signs for Hutan Simpan Pasir Raja. Drive along Jalan Bypass Dungun until you reach the junction for Jalan Hutan Simpan Pasir Raja. Turn onto this road and continue until you see signs for Air Terjun Chemerong. The road may become narrower as you approach the waterfall, and parking is available near the entrance.

• Public Transportation (Bus)

  Start your journey at the Kuala Terengganu Bus Terminal. Take a bus to Dungun, which should take about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive in Dungun, you can take a taxi or a local ride-sharing service to Hutan Simpan Pasir Raja. Ensure you confirm the fare before starting the trip, as it may vary. The taxi ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off at the entrance to Air Terjun Chemerong.

  If you are already in Dungun and prefer a quicker option, you can hail a taxi or use a ride-sharing app to get to Air Terjun Chemerong. Provide the driver with the address: Hutan Simpan Pasir Raja, 23000 Dungun, Terengganu. The ride will take around 30 minutes, depending on traffic. Confirm the fare beforehand to avoid any surprises. This is ideal if you're traveling in a group or with family.

• Walking (from Parking Area)

  After arriving at the parking area for Air Terjun Chemerong, you will need to walk a short distance to reach the waterfall. The path is well-marked, but be prepared for a bit of a hike, as the terrain may be uneven. Ensure you wear comfortable shoes and bring water along. The walk to the waterfall takes about 15-20 minutes.
