Car
If you're traveling by car, start from Kuala Terengganu city center. Head south on Jalan Sultan Zainal Abidin and then take the exit towards Jalan Tengku Mizan. Continue on this road until you reach the junction for Jalan Kapas. Follow the signs leading to Pulau Kapas, which is the island where Batu Kapal is located. After reaching the jetty, park your car and purchase a boat ticket to Pulau Kapas. The boat fare is approximately RM 30 for a round trip. The boat ride takes about 10-15 minutes.
Public Transportation
To reach Batu Kapal via public transportation, take a bus from Kuala Terengganu to Marang. Buses leave frequently from the main bus terminal in the city. The fare is around RM 5-10 and the journey takes about 30-45 minutes. Once you arrive in Marang, head to the jetty where you can catch a boat to Pulau Kapas. The boat fare is approximately RM 30 for a round trip, and the boat ride takes about 10-15 minutes.
Taxi or Ride-Hailing Service
You can also opt for a taxi or ride-hailing service like Grab from Kuala Terengganu to Marang. The fare should be around RM 40-50 and will take about 30 minutes.
