From Kuala Terengganu, take the coastal road (Route 3) towards the town of Merang. The journey will take approximately 1 hour. Follow the signs towards Merang Jetty. Once you arrive at Merang Jetty, you will need to park your car at the designated parking area, which may incur a fee of around RM 5 to RM 10 per day. After parking, purchase a ticket for a speedboat or ferry to Pulau Lang Tengah, which costs approximately RM 30 to RM 50 per person for a round trip. The speedboat ride will take about 30 minutes.

From Kuala Terengganu, take a bus from the main bus terminal (Terminal Bas Kuala Terengganu) to Merang. Buses run regularly throughout the day and cost around RM 10 per person.
