Car
If you are driving, start from Kuala Terengganu city center. Head south on Jalan Sultan Zainal Abidin towards Jalan Paya Bunga. Continue straight for about 3 kilometers until you reach the roundabout at Jalan Paya Bunga. Take the second exit onto Jalan Paya Bunga and follow it for about 5 kilometers. You will see signposts for Rusila Blue Lake. Keep an eye out for the lake on your left as you approach the area. Parking is available near the entrance.
Public Transportation
To reach Rusila Blue Lake via public transport, take a bus from Kuala Terengganu to the nearby town of Marang. Buses leave regularly from the main bus terminal in Kuala Terengganu, and the fare is approximately RM 5. Once you arrive in Marang, you can take a local taxi or ride-hailing service to Rusila Blue Lake, which is about 10 kilometers away. The taxi fare should be around RM 15 to RM 20. Make sure to confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey.
Taxi or Ride-Hailing Service
If you prefer a more direct route without public transport, you can use a taxi or a ride-hailing app like Grab from Kuala Terengganu. Simply enter 'Rusila Blue Lake' as your destination, and the estimated fare from the city center will be around RM 30 to RM 40. The driver will take you directly to the lake, which is about 15 kilometers away, and the journey should take approximately 20-30 minutes depending on traffic.
