If you are driving to Sun Beach Resort, first, head towards the Mersing Jetty. From Mersing, take the ferry to Pulau Tioman. The ferry ride will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive at Tioman Island, you will want to head towards Kampung Genting. Follow the signs or ask locals for directions to Sun Beach Resort, which is located in Kampung Genting.

Public Transportation

To reach Sun Beach Resort using public transportation, take a bus from Kuala Lumpur or Johor Bahru to Mersing. The bus ride will take around 4 to 5 hours and costs approximately RM30 to RM50, depending on the bus service. Once you arrive at Mersing, head to the ferry terminal and purchase a ticket for the ferry to Pulau Tioman. The ferry ride takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. After you arrive at Tioman Island, make your way to Kampung Genting, where Sun Beach Resort is located. You can either walk or take a local taxi or boat to reach your destination.
