Car
If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Kuala Lumpur. Head north on the North-South Expressway (E1) towards Ipoh. After passing Ipoh, continue towards Butterworth. Take the exit towards the Penang Bridge. Cross the bridge and follow signs to the mainland. Once you reach the mainland, head towards the Kuala Perlis jetty. The drive should take approximately 5-6 hours, depending on traffic conditions. Parking is available near the jetty.

For those opting for public transportation, take a bus from Kuala Lumpur to Kuala Perlis. You can catch a bus from the Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS) bus terminal. The journey will take around 6-8 hours, depending on the bus service and traffic. Once you arrive at the Kuala Perlis bus station, make your way to the nearby jetty for the next leg of your journey.

Ferry
From the Kuala Perlis jetty, you will need to take a ferry to Manutik Island. Ferries operate regularly throughout the day, and the ride takes about 30-45 minutes. It is advisable to check the ferry schedule ahead of time to plan your trip accordingly. The cost for the ferry ride is usually around RM 30 to RM 50 per person. Please ensure to purchase your ticket at the jetty before boarding.
