From Kinabalu National Park, start your journey by heading southeast on the road that leads to the town of Kundasang. Continue driving for about 15 km until you reach the junction where you will turn right onto the road leading to Kota Kinabalu. Drive approximately 100 km towards Kota Kinabalu. As you approach the city, follow the signs for Tanjung Aru Beach. Once you reach Tanjung Aru, look for signs directing you to Tanjung Aru Beach Resort, where you will find parking available. Expect to pay around RM 5 for parking.

If you prefer public transport, you can take a bus from Kundasang to Kota Kinabalu. The bus station is located near the main market in Kundasang. Buses run frequently, and the fare is approximately RM 30 per person. Once you arrive in Kota Kinabalu, you can take a local bus or taxi to Tanjung Aru Beach.
