Seaplane
The most common way to reach Veligandu is by seaplane from Velana International Airport (MLE) in Malé. After clearing customs, proceed to the Crown & Champa Resorts (CCR) Booth #B9, where a representative will assist you. A shuttle bus will then take you to the seaplane terminal. The scenic seaplane transfer takes about 20 minutes and offers stunning aerial views of the atolls. Seaplane transfers operate during daylight hours, typically from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The roundtrip seaplane transfer costs between $290 to $700 per person. Be sure to provide your arrival and departure flight details to the resort well in advance to ensure a smooth transfer.

Speedboat
Alternatively, you can take a speedboat to Veligandu, although this is less common due to the distance. After arriving at Velana International Airport (MLE), head to the airport's speedboat terminal. The speedboat ride takes approximately 60 minutes. Veligandu has scheduled speedboat transfers twice daily: from the airport to Veligandu at 1030h and 1645h, and from Veligandu to the airport at 0700h and 1530h. If you miss these, guests have the option of staying at Champa Central Hotel in Male' or wait at the airport. A roundtrip speedboat transfer costs approximately $310 per person. Ensure you book your speedboat transfer in advance through your hotel.
