From Malé, you will need to transfer to a local island ferry or speedboat to reach Wahifuri. Ferry schedules can be infrequent, with services running perhaps three times a week to more distant islands. Check with your accommodation in Wahifuri for the most up-to-date ferry schedules and booking information. Alternatively, arrange a speedboat transfer, which is faster but more expensive. Ferry costs from Malé to nearby islands range from 30-75 MVR. Speedboat transfers can cost around $30 per hour. Expect the ferry journey to take up to 5 hours.
