Getting There

  • Car

    If you have access to a car, start from the center of Hithadhoo Island. Head southeast on the main road, following signs towards the southern areas of the island. Continue on this road for about 10 minutes, passing through local neighborhoods. Look out for the landmark 'Hithadhoo Mosque' on your right, then take the first left after the mosque. Follow this road until you reach a junction, then turn right. Mendhoo neru is located a short distance ahead on your left. Parking is available nearby.

  • Public Transportation

    To use public transportation, head to the nearest bus stop in Hithadhoo. Board a bus that is heading towards the southern part of the island. Inform the bus driver that your destination is Mendhoo neru. The fare is approximately 10 MVR (Maldivian Rufiyaa). The bus ride will take about 15-20 minutes. After disembarking, walk along the main road for about 5 minutes until you reach Mendhoo neru, which will be on your right.

  • Walking

    If you are nearby, you can walk to Mendhoo neru from the center of Hithadhoo. Start at the Hithadhoo City Center and walk southeast along the main road. After about 20-25 minutes of walking, you will pass the Hithadhoo Mosque on your right. Continue straight until you reach the junction where you will turn right. Walk for another 5 minutes, and Mendhoo neru will be on your left. This route is pedestrian-friendly and allows you to enjoy the local scenery.
