If you are driving from anywhere in Hulhumalé, head towards the main road that connects Hulhumalé to Malé. Follow the signs for the ferry terminal. Once you reach the ferry terminal, you can park your car at the designated parking area. After parking, take a ferry to Malé, which usually takes about 15 minutes. The ferry operates regularly, and the cost is approximately 1.50 MVR (Maldivian Rufiyaa) per person. Once you arrive in Malé, follow the signs towards the Old National Museum, which is located at 5GH6+365, Machangolhi. You can either walk or take a taxi from the ferry terminal to the museum.

To reach the Old National Museum from Hulhumalé using public transportation, start by heading to the main bus stop in Hulhumalé. Catch a bus that is headed to Malé; these buses run frequently throughout the day. The bus fare is around 20 MVR per person. Once you arrive in Malé, disembark at the bus stop closest to the ferry terminal. From there, you can either walk or take a short taxi ride to the Old National Museum located at 5GH6+365, Machangolhi.

For a more direct route, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Hulhumalé to the ferry terminal. Taxis are available and can be booked via local apps or hailed from the street. The fare to the ferry terminal is around 50 MVR. After reaching the ferry terminal, take a ferry to Malé, which costs about 1.50 MVR per person and takes about 15 minutes. Upon arrival in Malé, you can take another taxi directly to the Old National Museum. The taxi fare from the ferry terminal to the museum should not exceed 20 MVR.
