Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Maldives Islamic Centre, head southwest on Boduthakurufaanu Magu street for about 500 meters. Keep walking straight until you reach the junction with Chaandhanee Magu street. Turn left onto Chaandhanee Magu and continue walking for approximately 300 meters. The National Museum will be on your right side, right next to the Sultan Park.

    From the Male Fish Market, exit the market and head northeast along the shoreline on the main road. Continue for about 1 kilometer, and then turn left onto Chaandhanee Magu street. Walk for another 200 meters, and you will see the National Museum on your left side, adjacent to the Sultan Park.

    If you are near the Central Park, walk towards the main road, and head southeast along the street for about 300 meters. At the junction, turn right onto Chaandhanee Magu street and continue walking for 600 meters. The National Museum will be on your left side, situated right next to the Sultan Park.

    Starting from the Old Friday Mosque, exit the mosque and head east along the street. After approximately 400 meters, turn left onto Chaandhanee Magu street. Walk straight for about 200 meters, and you will find the National Museum on your right side, just before entering the Sultan Park.
