Republic Square is located in Malé, so you'll need to take a short ferry ride. There is a public parking area near the ferry terminal in Hulhumalé, where parking fees may apply, usually around 10-20 MVR (Maldivian Rufiyaa) per hour. After parking, walk to the ferry terminal and purchase a ticket, which costs about 10 MVR (Maldivian Rufiyaa) for a one-way trip to Malé.

    Public Transportation (Bus)

    From any point on Hulhumalé Island, look for the bus stop. Take the public bus heading towards Malé. Buses run frequently, and tickets cost around 20 MVR (Maldivian Rufiyaa). The bus will take you to the ferry terminal where you will need to purchase a ferry ticket, costing an additional 10 MVR (Maldivian Rufiyaa) for a ride to Malé. Once you arrive in Malé, walk towards Boduthakurufaanu Magu; Republic Square is located a short distance away from the ferry terminal.

    If you are already in Hulhumalé and wish to take the ferry directly to Malé, head to the Hulhumalé ferry terminal located at the end of the main road. The ferry departs regularly, and the ticket price is 10 MVR (Maldivian Rufiyaa). The journey takes about 15 minutes. Once you arrive at the Malé ferry terminal, exit and walk towards Boduthakurufaanu Magu; Republic Square is a short walk from the terminal.
