To reach Girifushi, start at Velana International Airport (MLE) on Hulhulé Island. Take the airport ferry to Malé, which departs every 20 minutes and costs approximately 20 MVR. From the Malé ferry terminal, purchase a ticket for a ferry or speedboat to Girifushi. Ferry fares range from 30-60 MVR, with a journey time of up to 5 hours. Speedboats are faster but more expensive, costing up to 3500 MVR. Check ferry schedules in advance as they may be unreliable and do not operate on Fridays. Private speedboats can also be hired for around $150+.
