From the MTCC Malé Ferry Terminal in Malé, you can catch a public ferry or speedboat to various local islands in North Malé Atoll. Ferry schedules vary, so check in advance. Prices range from 22 MVR (1.42 USD) to 30 USD depending on the distance and type of boat.

Many resorts and guesthouses offer private speedboat transfers from Velana International Airport (MLE). Upon arrival, a representative will meet you and escort you to the speedboat. The cost varies depending on the distance and the resort, ranging from 60 USD to 200 USD for a round trip. This is the fastest and most convenient option, with travel times ranging from 15 minutes to an hour.

Taxi
Taxis are available from Velana International Airport (MLE) to the MTCC Malé Ferry Terminal. The fare is fixed by the government at 75 MVR. You can also use taxi apps like Avas Ride or PickMe. From the ferry terminal, you can then take a ferry or speedboat to your final destination in North Malé Atoll. Keep in mind that taxis are only useful for getting to the ferry terminal, as they cannot travel between islands.
