Car
If you are driving in Laamu Atoll, take the main road towards Hithadhoo. Continue on this road until you reach the center of Hithadhoo town. Look for signs indicating 'Hithadhoo Mangrove' or use a GPS device. The mangrove area is located at the coordinates Q9VP+6F, Hithadhoo. Once you arrive, you may need to park your vehicle in a nearby area, as access to the mangrove may be limited in some parts.
Public Transportation (Bus)
To reach Hithadhoo Mangrove by public transport, catch a local bus from any point in Laamu Atoll heading towards Hithadhoo. The bus will drop you at the main bus station in Hithadhoo. From there, ask locals for directions to 'Hithadhoo Mangrove' or follow signs leading to the area. The mangrove is located a short walk from the bus station. Be prepared for a small fee for the bus ride, typically around 15 MVR (Maldivian Rufiyaa).
Bicycle or Walking
If you prefer a more active approach, consider renting a bicycle in Hithadhoo. After reaching Hithadhoo via car or bus, you can rent a bicycle from local shops. Follow the main roads towards the mangrove area, which is located at Q9VP+6F. It's a pleasant ride, allowing you to enjoy the scenery.
