To reach Dhiffushi from Malé, take the public ferry. The ferry departs from the Villingili Ferry Terminal in Malé. A taxi from the airport to the terminal will cost approximately $8-10. The ferry ticket costs around MVR 22 (approximately $1.50 USD) per person. The ferry ride takes approximately 3 hours and 15 minutes. Ferries operate every day except Fridays, departing Malé at 14:30 and arriving in Dhiffushi around 17:40. For the return trip, the ferry leaves Dhiffushi at 06:30 and reaches Malé by 09:40. Payment for the return trip can be made directly on the boat.

For a faster journey to Dhiffushi, take a speedboat from Malé or Velana International Airport. Several companies, including Mee Express and Altec Tours Maldives, offer speedboat transfers. A one-way ticket costs approximately $25-$45 per person. The speedboat journey takes about 40-50 minutes. Speedboats depart multiple times daily, but schedules vary, so advance booking is recommended. To get to the speedboat jetty from the airport, take the airport ferry to Malé for MVR 15 (cash only), then walk to Jetty No. 6.
